Christmas is almost here and I suddenly realize that by this time next year, we will celebrate Christmas for the first time as a family. It looks really pretty and it gives me a somewhat cozy feeling inside. When I’m done, I take a glance out the kitchen window and notice that snowflakes are gently falling down from the sky while sparkling faintly. I decide that I’m going to put some extra effort into tonight’s dinner and I start to cook all sorts of things while cheerfully humming. My feet guide me towards the kitchen and when I open the fridge, I realize that we have all the things needed for making an awesome dinner. Even though it makes me feel like a total weirdo, I can’t stop myself from smiling happily while I search for something to do.
I’m feeling all bubbly inside and I find it hard to just sit around and wait for him. “I should do something while waiting… ” I look around me, trying to find something that will keep me busy until he gets back. That’s why I can’t wait to tell him the good news. I have always liked kids and having one with Haruki is like a dream come true. I look at the clock for the millionth time and my shoulders drop when I realize that it’s only been a little over half an hour since I got back from the doctor after getting some fantastic news: I’m going to have a baby with Haruki! Ahh, I wish he could hurry up and get here already! It feels like my heart is about to burst with anticipation and excitement. I nervously walk back and forth in the living room, trying to organize my thoughts before Haruki comes home from work. This is the first one up and it takes place a few years after his season 2.
